We wanted to go to the restaurant on the other side of road, ristorante alla vecchia bettola, but it was full and we did not have any reservation. They told us to go to la bettolina on the other side of the road, which offers the same menu and has the same kitchen. The menu was indeed the same. We got the penne alla bettola and tagliolini with anchovies and lemon. Both dishes were very good, rich in flavours and came in generous portions. Probably one of the best pasta I had in Italy. The plates were served under 5 minutes which was impressive too. The only downside is the service, we felt like we were not welcome there and it undermined the overall experience. Still a place I'd recommend for good food!

Sister restaurant to Vecchia Bettola across the street but the food was simply not as good. The paste / primi dishes were delicious but the two secondi dishes we ordered weren’t great. Wine is good and incredibly affordable. We stayed for several hours drinking the wine and then eating dessert.

The food at La Bettolina is actually quite good. We wanted to go to the restaurant opposite, but didn’t get a reservation, so we ended up at La Bettolina, and we were pleasantly surprised. The penne alla bettola is delicious and we came back to eat it the next day too. The other dishes were alright.

Food was indescribable. service was perfect, you just have to ask and they will deliver. we ordered 3 different plates of pasta, they were so good we had to order them again! can’t recommend enough if you’re in florence looking for the best pasta you’ve ever had.

Sister restaurant of Alla Vecchia Bettola, just across the road. Same incredible food, slightly quieter room. Relaxed, and good service, free-flowing wine. Highly recommend the famous vodka pasta.

went here for dinner while visiting Florence, and had an incredible meal!! The place was very homey and cozy, and the food tasted amazing and came very quickly. The staff, however, was really the highlight of the visit. Our waiter was fantastic -- he was super attentive to everything we needed, translated the menu for us, explained all the dishes (and brought over samples for things we hadn't heard of before), and was overall just incredible. Absolutely amazing spot!!
